| Each
wheel starts out as premium grade, 6061 Aluminum alloy billet.
The billets are forged, under tremendous pressure, into wheel
shaped “Blanks”. After forging the Blanks are furnace aged
and tempered under carefully controlled conditions to obtain
the optimum mechanical properties for this material. The
blanks are rough machined on a CNC wheel lathe and then in
another thermal process, stress relieved. Following stress
relief the wheels go back to the lathe where the rim is finish
machined to industry standard specifications. At this point
the wheels are set up on multi-axis machining centers where
our distinctive designs are carved into their faces. |
